Terms of use

This is a draft of ChargeUnpacker's terms, posted while we onboard the first households. It will be revised before general availability.

The service

ChargeUnpacker parses the Amazon order and shipping emails you forward to us and posts per-item subtransactions to your YNAB budget. You're in control of which emails get forwarded and which categories YNAB sees.

Your account

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your forwarding address private. If your address leaks, rotate it from the dashboard or contact us — we'll help you replace it.

Acceptable use

ChargeUnpacker is for personal household budgeting. Don't use it to process emails or YNAB budgets that aren't yours. Each forwarding address has a lifetime quota; we may pause or rotate addresses that show signs of abuse.

No warranty

ChargeUnpacker is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Email parsing and LLM categorization are best-effort — review what lands in YNAB before approving the transaction. We aren't responsible for budget mis-categorizations or other downstream financial decisions you make from our output.

Termination

You can stop using the service and request deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.

Changes

We'll revise these terms as the product matures, especially before general availability. Material changes will be communicated to active users.
